For companies, public bodies and organisations
AI advisory and delivery that creates real value.
Veanu supports companies and public bodies in adopting artificial intelligence: we show where it is worth using, build the applications that fit, and make sure the data, rules and responsibilities are in place for daily operation.
Our clients
How we help
The problems we solve.
The right starting point is missing
The decision to use AI has been made; the open question is where to begin. We review your processes, assess possible applications for value and feasibility, and agree a sequence that matches your resources.
Many experiments, little impact
Pilots are running in individual departments, but nobody knows which of them are worthwhile. We bring the initiatives together, assess them against the same criteria and develop a strategy that holds.
The technology is ready, the organisation is not
Models and platforms are available, but responsibilities, data quality, internal rules and know-how are missing. We work on both at the same time, so an application does not remain stuck in the pilot stage.
Services
From strategy to daily operation.
Each service can be engaged on its own. In most projects they interlock, because an AI application only works with sound data, clear rules and people who know how to use it.
Applications assessed and prioritised
We analyse your processes, record possible applications and assess them against value, effort, data availability and legal requirements. You receive a clear sequence you can present to your executive board.
Solutions that hold up in daily use
We build the solution, connect it to your existing systems and take it into operation, with tests, monitoring and documentation that lets your team carry on after the project ends.
A reliable data foundation
We clarify which data exists, how good its quality is and under which conditions you may use it. That usually determines whether a project succeeds.
Clear rules, roles and evidence
We develop internal policies, approval processes, review criteria and the documentation for data protection, information security and supervisory bodies. Your decisions stay traceable years later.
Teams that carry on independently
Workshops, training and guided project work for leadership and specialist teams. We hand over not only the application, but also the knowledge of how it works and where its limits lie.
Workshops
Three questions that precede every AI project.
Our workshops bring leadership and specialist teams to the same level of understanding. We work with examples from your own organisation, and the result is concrete decisions.
Why AI?
Value and priorities
Where AI pays off economically in your organisation, where it mainly creates effort, and which initiatives you should tackle first.
How AI?
Adoption, data and rules
Which data you may use, who decides on deployment, and what an internal policy looks like that people actually follow at work.
What can AI do?
Possibilities and limits
What today's systems achieve, where they reach their limits, and which decisions remain with people.
Format
We shape the workshop around your organisation: a 60-minute briefing for the executive team, half a day with a specialist team, or a series over several weeks when a policy needs to come out of it.
Topics
Where we go deeper.
Four areas we are asked about most often. Each one covers what the work involves and what you can expect from us.
Our own products
Software that grew out of our projects.
FraudCrawler
Systematically searches online marketplaces for prohibited products and suspicious sellers. It grew out of work with bodies that monitor the market.
HorAIzon Scanner
Continuously tracks developments in your field, from technology and regulation to the market, and summarises them regularly for specialist units and leadership bodies.
NYXalign
A publicly available app for cognitive hygiene: short exercises to regain attention and find inner balance in everyday life. No registration, no performance pressure.
Clinical NYXalign
Clinical NYXalign is currently in development and will be registered as a Class I medical device. The platform combines cognitive exercises with gamification elements that help patients keep up their training. The focus is on transferring skills into everyday life. Clinicians receive comprehensive dashboards and full analytics, while content can be configured individually to each patient's needs.
Swiss values, European standards
What you can hold us to.
We build for digital sovereignty and transparency, so you keep control of your data and your systems.
A Swiss company
veanu is based in Bern and subject to Swiss data protection law (revFADP). Data is stored in Switzerland or the EU.
Open source
Our tools are open and auditable. You can see what happens behind the scenes at any time and stay in control.
GDPR and revFADP
We work to European data protection standards and document how data is processed, stored and protected.
Digital sovereignty
We reduce dependence on single vendors and build solutions your own team can keep running.
Traceable work
We document assumptions, decisions and results so they remain verifiable years later.
Working in dialogue
We work alongside your specialists and hand over the knowledge needed to run the solution.
What sets us apart.
Our experience comes from projects in which AI had to work under strict requirements, in public administration, healthcare and industry.
Us
Our expertise covers data science, software engineering and consulting.
We worked together in a Swiss innovation lab in a regulated environment. There we learned what projects have to look like to meet strict requirements and still be used day to day.
